Real Reality: Life Inside The Discomfort Zone

VR Addiction Short Film

To many Americans, 2016 was the worst year in history: the countless celebrity deaths, political panic, the presidential election, Syria, Ghostbusters, exploding cell phones, Zika virus at the Rio Olympics, clown threats, Harambe, racial tensions, police brutality, terror attacks, virtual reality, fake news, the opioid epidemic, and the growing distrust of American institutions.

People across the country dealt with these tragedies in their own way. Steven Stevenson chose to escape the Hell of 2016 by wearing his VR Headset… 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But which event triggered him? What was the final straw for a man to dive into the bizarre world of virtual reality and become the first ever citizen to suffer from VR Addiction?

Watch this VR headset documentary as Steven creates his own reality and the challenges that lay ahead for the people in his life, like his roommate, Michael Gordon. How will his roommate and lifelong friend deal with this? What will happen to his social life? Did he ever have a social life? How will the VR Headset get in the way of forming relationships with women? These are the questions that will be answered in Real Reality: Life Inside The Discomfort Zone.
